RIO is a holonomic indoor research platform I’m currently developing. It has a full suspension to tackle those uneven carpets and to minimize wheel slippage.
In the weeks to come, I would like to provide more documentation about the robot. In the meanwhile, here’s a picture-

UPDATE: Here are some videos made by my students, Gina and Germaine from Temasek Design School, pre-visualizing what Rio might look like. We are very excited to develop the expressive head and obviously, we are big fans of Pixar.
